Can I make Celebrity Guest Recommendations?
-
We sincerely do not need recommendations - Fandom Events hosts the most anime conventions in the United States. If you would like to see a specific guest at OKiCon, you must be willing to personally sponsor their appearance. Email Sponsorships@Fandomevents.org to set up payment options. It usually costs about $1,500 per guest.

Why isn't _____ (celebrity) appearing?
-
There are literally hundreds of talented voice actors. We cannot invite all of them every year, yes, even the one that is your absolute favorite. There are many, many factors involved in who can appear
-
OKiCon is NOT an "autograph farm" - we have more programming in a single day than an entire weekend at a large comic-con; OKiCON is a 3-day celebration with dozens of panels, programs, concerts, and activities. There is FAR more to do at OKiCON than shop and meet celebrities.
-
If you've been trained by autograph farms to think all there is to do is meet celebrities, please enjoy the weekend with us - you will be blown away at all there is to do at OKiCON.
-
We understand attendees may not be able to stay all 3 days, but it is absolutely the best way to enjoy the weekend, plus it helps the convention out.

Will there be an autograph authentication service on site?
-
At this time, we do not plan to offer a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) service. We have provided this option in the past but demand was consistently low, and COA providers require a minimum level of interest to justify attending. If this changes in the future, we’ll absolutely revisit the option!
